3. Carefully insert the card into the card guides until the card contacts the
backplane connector. Then apply equal pressure on both upper and lower
ejectors.
4. Upon insertion, the STAT LED illuminates RED while the card performs internal
power up diagnostics. Upon successful completion of the power up diagnostics,
the STAT LED blinks GREEN at 0.5 second interval while initializing. Upon
completion of initialization, the STAT LED illuminates solid GREEN.
5. Install the optical modules into the OIU card in preparation for fiber installation.
