Since these features are only required in individual cases,
they are not part of the default software packet. They can be
installed as stand-alone modules for the desired function. The
description of the functionality of individual modules appears
in their respective chapters.
Following completion of transmission, you must adjust the
module’s configuration and reboot the VoIPBox. Once you
have rebooted the system, you can use the required features.
6.4 SNMP
agent
This module allows you to connect the systems and their
functions to an SNMP-based network monitoring system.
With this module, SNMP requests are answered and alarm
messages (for example Layer 1 errors on E1 lines) and error
recovery messages are sent via SNMP trap.
The trap consists of a generic trap
