the web interface, missing web interface files or no permis-
sion for port 80 are most likely the reason why access to a sys-
tem through the web interface fails.
Reasons
|
The system is not accessible through the web interface
because the required files were not installed.
|
The system cannot be accessed through the web inter-
face because the required version does not match the
system version.
|
The system cannot be accessed through the web inter-
face because you don’t have permission to access port
80 (the firewall is blocking).
Symptoms
|
There is no connection to the system through the web in-
terface.
Solution
|
In the GATE Manager, go to the boot directory and check
if the
httpd.izg
and
httpd.tz2
files exist. If not, update
your software. Follow the steps described in
.
|
If these files exist but if the system still cannot be access-
ed through the web interface, check if there is a mis-
match between the system version and the version of
the files for the web interface and replace the web inter-
face files by matching ones. To do that, follow the steps
described in chapter
|
If the problem persists, check if port 80 is blocked by
