SureFoot™ Grounding
If you cannot use the low-inductance grounding
method recommended, the probe may be
grounded to the package under test using a
SureFoot adapter.
1.
Connect a short ground lead to the probe.
2.
Attach a SureFoot adapter at the end of
the ground lead.
3.
Connect the SureFoot adapter directly to
the package ground.
This method is preferred over using an adjacent
circuit ground because it is the shortest ground
path possible.
