guring two Tektronix 70000 series oscilloscopes
Ethernet.
Connect each instrument to the GigE switch. If you are using an
external PC connect this too. See instructions provided above for con
fi
guring
the IP addresses.
USB cable.
Connect the standard USB cable between one of the ports on the
scopes and the Sync Board. This cable is simply used to power the board.
RF cabling.
Connect rear-panel BNC connections Ref Out on the master to Ref In on
the slave oscilloscope.
For self-triggering (vs. using an external trigger source): Using an SMA cable,
connect the Fast Edge of the Master (usually top scope) to Ch 2 of the Master.
