Taking automatic measurements in the frequency domain
To take an automatic measurement in the frequency domain (available for models
with option SA3 or SA6 installed):

Choose the measurement of interest from the side menu.
As you select each frequency measurement, on screen help will appear to explain
the purpose of that measurement. A
Configure
item will appear on the lower
menu. After you press
Configure
and set the measurement parameters in the
resulting side menu, the oscilloscope will automatically set the span. When the
RF measurements are on, the Auto detection method will set all frequency
domain traces to the
Average
detection method. This provides optimal
measurement accuracy.
