7.5 DISASSEMBLING THE
SIDE HANDLEBARS
Disassemble the central handlebar as indicat -
ed in paragraph “7.4 Disassembling the central
handlebar”.
1. Remove the side guard.
2. Remove the upper guard.
3. Remove the upper screws.
4. Loosen the grub screw.
5. Remove the handlebar.
When the handlebar is removed, recover the
pawl.
7.6 DISASSEMBLING THE
POST
Disassemble the side handlebars as indicated in
paragraph “7.5 Disassembling the side handle-
bars”.
1. Remove the front platform.
Mark the screws based on the dimension.
2. Remove the guard.
3. Remove the side cover (interlocked).
4. Remove the side guard.
5. Remove the front guard.
6. Remove the side guard.
7. Disconnect the brake cable.
8. Remove the post.
7.7 BRAKING SYSTEM
7.7.1 DISASSEMBLING THE
BRAKING SYSTEM
1. Remove the guard.
2. Remove the guard.
3. Remove the lever.
4. Remove the bearing.
5. Remove the plate and remove the brake
cable from its seat.
7.7.2 REPLACING THE BRAKE
CABLE
Disassemble the braking system as indicated
in paragraph “7.7.1 Disassembling the braking
system”.
Use a gauge to measure the upper and lower
brake cable register.
Before proceeding with replacement, check
and mark the path of the cable.
1. Remove the upper and lower cable regis-
ter.
2. Remove the brake cable.
7.7.3 REPLACING THE BRAKE
FRAME
Disassemble the braking system as indicated
in paragraph “7.7.1 Disassembling the braking
system”.
1. Remove the pulley and remove the cable
from its seat.
