7.7. DISASSEMBLING THE PEDALS AND THE PEDAL
CRANKS

1. Back off the screw
a
using a 15-mm wrench
and remove the pedal.
During reassembly, lock down the
screws “a” using a torque wrench set for
35 Nm.

2. Remove the plastic caps
b
from both pedal
cranks.
3. Use a 14-mm socket wrench to back off the
screw underneath.
4. Use a bicycle pedal extractor tool to remove
the two pedal cranks.
To reassemble the pedals and the pedal cranks,
carry out the above steps in reverse order.
During reassembly, lock down the
screws “b” using a torque wrench set for
40 Nm.0
