802.1AS Synchronization UseCase
If the
Enable Core 802.1AS
is activated in
Spy Multiplexer
settings label -please, see
section 5.4.2-, the BRSPY device will be able to synchronize with any Master Device
through Gigabit Port. In this case, the device will use the same TimeStamping as the
Master Device, and this includes the maintenance of synchronized time during normal
operation and following addition, removal, or failure of network components and
network reconfiguration.
