19. The display reads “HOME SWITCH
NOT SEEN. CLAM ITEMS BLOCKED.
CALL SERVICE.”
This fault will display when the platen
moves to Home, but the Home switch
stays open.
The platen is going Home, but the
control does not detect the Home
switch closing. The grill appears to
operate normally.
a. The Home switch has failed, Home
switch is out of position, or wire
connections are faulty.
a. Inspect the wire connections at the
Home switch and the motor control
board. Secure or replace loose
connections.
Inspect the Home switch harness
and test for continuity through the
wire and the switch. With the
digital multimeter connected,
manually open and close the
switch. Replace or reposition the
Home switch.
b. If the Home switch and wiring are
good, the motor control board may be
defective.

c. Defective stepper motor.
