About This Manual
Chapter 1: Setting Up Your Printer
In Chapter 1, you are instructed on how to set up your printer. You will find
criteria for site selection, instructions for removing the protective shipping
hardware from your printer, and locations of connectors for printer to host
communications and power hookups. In addition you will find instructions on
how to install the ink ribbon, load paper, and adjust the paper movement
mechanisms.
Chapter 2: Printer Control Panel
This chapter explains the various components of the Control Panel and their
functions in various printer modes.
Chapter 3: Printer Menus and Configuring Your Printer
Chapter 3 explains the different menus that are available on your printer and
all of the parameters contained in them. It also presents Menu Tutorials that
show how to perform a variety of different menu operations.
Appendix A: Troubleshooting
Appendix A contains a listing of the error and fault messages that may appear
on the Control Panel Display and various troubleshooting procedures and
problem fixes.
Specifications
This section lists and explains technical aspects of printer performance and
general design specifications.

Notes are additional important or helpful information.
This symbol marks information about actions that may damage the equipment
or injure the user.
