Installation
Installation
To install the Comfort Pro S please perform the following steps in the order suggested. Please see also the
installation poster included in the scope of delivery.
1. Check the scope of delivery (see Scope of Delivery on page 26), read Safety Precautions starting on
page 26 and information on Mounting Location starting on page 29.
2. Open Comfort Pro S (see Opening and Closing Comfort Pro S starting on page 30)
3. Install interface cards, if provided (see Interface Cards starting on page 33)
4. Mount the device on the wall ( Mounting starting on page 43)
5. Connect terminals (see Port Assignment, Termination, Cable Length starting on page 43)
6. If available: externally connect S
0
to NTBA (see S0 Ports starting on page 43)
7. Plug power cord into power supply unit
8. Close Comfort Pro S (see Opening and Closing Comfort Pro S starting on page 30)
9. Switch on power supply
Wait until the system is initiated (takes about 2 minutes). The system telephone software is initialised
automatically (the display will then show the telephone’s internal phone number).
Call an external number to check basic functionality.
10. Connect PC/network to LAN1 for configuration
11. Close Comfort Pro S
12. Open configuration software (Configurator) in the browser (see Configuration starting on page 66);

13. Configure the Comfort Pro S using the Configuration Assistant
