6.13. Longer Stop of Operation
1
Put the suction lances combined with level detector into bucket
with clean water.

Start <Fill system>.
The reagent tubes are flushed with water.

Remove the suction lance from the water.

Start <Fill system> again.
The water will be pumped out of the reagent tubes.

Stop sample flow.

Wait until level in flow cell has fallen to the shorter tube inside
the cell.

Shut off power of the instrument.

Empty the flow cell completely.

Open the occlusion frames of the peristaltic pump, see
If option pH is installed

Unscrew and remove the connector from the pH sensor.

Put the connector cap onto the sensor connector.
12
Fill 3.5 molar KCl (if not available: water) into the rubber cap.

Remove the pH sensor from the flow cell and place the rubber
cap on the tip of the sensor
CAUTION
Damage of pH sensor
Wrong storage will damage the pH sensor.
Never store the pH sensor dry.
Store the pH sensor with tip pointing downwards in a frost-
protected room.
