1) Disconnect the ABS control unit coupler. Refer to “ABS
Control Unit Coupler Disconnect and Connect
(GSX1300BKAK8) (Page 4E-9)”.
2) Turn the ignition switch ON with the ABS control unit
coupler disconnected, measure the voltage between
“18” (O/Y) and “4” (B/W) at the coupler.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
(B): 09900–25009 (Needle pointed probe set)

Normal value (“18” – “4”)
Battery voltage (12.0 V and more)
ABS control unit coupler (Harness end)
Is the voltage between “18” and “4” normal?
Go to Step 8.
Inspect the wire
harness. (Faulty ignition
or ground wire)

1) Measure the voltage between “12” (Bl) and “4” (B/W) at
the coupler.
