• Insert the inner tube into the outer tube and install the oil seal

using the special tool.

09940-52861: Front fork oil seal installer
• Install the oil seal stopper ring

Make sure that the oil seal stopper ring is fitted securely.
• Install the dust seal

• Install the front fork protecter

NOTE:
Fit the projection of the front fork protecter to the depression of
the front fork outer tube.
CYLINDER BOLT
• Apply THREAD LOCK “1342”

to the cylinder bolt and tighten
it to the specified torque using a 6-mm hexagon wrench and
the special tools.

Cylinder bolt: 30 N.m (3.0 kgf.m, 21.5 lb-ft)

Use a new damper rod bolt gasket
