Warning! Make sure you lift the lever completely when installing the CPU;
otherwise, damage to the socket or CPU may occur.

Plastic cap is released from
the load plate when the CPU is
properly installed.

8. If the CPU is properly installed into
the socket, the black plastic cover will
be automatically released from the load
plate when the lever is pushed into
the hook. Remove the cover from the
motherboard.
Note:
Keep the plastic cap. If you need
to ship the motherboard, the CPU must
have the plastic cap properly installed to
protect the CPU pins. Shipping without
the CPU plastic cap properly installed
will void the warranty.
