Hyper-Threading (ALL)
Select Enable to use Intel Hyper-Threading Technology to enhance CPU performance. The
options are
Enable
and Disable.
Cores Enabled
Use this feature to limit the CPU cores. Type the number of cores desired. Enter 0 to enable
all cores. Enter bit0 to disable CPU Core 0. Enter bit1 to disable CPU Core 1. Note that the
maximum of 24 cores are currently available in each CPU package. The default setting is
0
.
Execute Disable Bit
(Available if supported by the OS & the CPU)
Select Enable to keep mixed power-on frequency of each CPU socket. The options are
Enable
and Disable.
Intel Virtualization Technology
Select Enable to use Intel Virtualization Technology which will allow the I/O device assignments
to be directly reported to the VMM (Virtual Memory Management) through the DMAR ACPI
tables. This feature offers fully-protected I/O resource-sharing across the Intel platforms,
providing the user with greater reliability, security, and availability in networking and data-
sharing. The settings are
Enable
and Disable.
