Removing the Ethernet Hub From the
First Cabinet
1. Open the front door of the system.
2. Remove as many of the filler panels as necessary to gain access to the Ethernet
hub.
3. Disconnect the power cable from the Ethernet hub.
4. Remove the two Phillips screws holding the Ethernet Hub to the mounting rails.
5. Open the back door of the system.
6. Open the service panel.
The service panel is held shut by five PEM captive fastener screws.
7. Ensure that all Ethernet cables are labeled and note the ports to which they are
connected.
8. Moving from right to left, disconnect the cables.
9. Remove the two screws holding the back Ethernet hub mounting rails.
10. Go to the front of the system.
11. Remove the Ethernet hub by sliding it out of the front of the cabinet.
12. Remove the four screws (two per side) and three small screws holding the
Ethernet hub to the center brackets.
