Delayed Start Feature
This feature controls the automatic timing of the oven’s
On and Off function.
Delayed Start Usage:
The time-of-day clock must display the correct time
•
prior to programming a timed activity.
Display appears as if the oven is on.
•
One chime rings before the last minute of the cooking
•
time.
Three chimes that repeat every 30 seconds signal end
•
of cooking time. The oven turns itself off.
To initiate Delayed Start Feature (See Figure 2-21):
Turn oven knob assembly to desired mode.

Twist the selector knob to energize the unit.

Change preset temperature if needed.

Press COOK TIME.

Use the up or down arrow on the ECH to adjust the

desired cooking time.
Press the STOP TIME key.

Use the up or down arrow on the ECH to adjust the
7
desired stop time.
Press the ENTER key.

The oven appears as though it’s on. The oven turns
9
on when the clock reachs the start time.
To exit Delayed Start Feature, turn the knob assembly
10
to OFF.
Probe Feature
The probe measures internal temperature of food without
opening the oven door.
Probe Usage:
To change the temperature setpoint during probe
•
mode you must exit probe mode and restart with a
new probe setpoint.
Use the desired cooking mode as recommended.
•
Set the probe for 5° less the desired temperature.
•
The temperature rises during the rest time.
To initiate Probe Feature (See Figure 2-22):
Turn oven knob assembly to desired mode.

Twist the selector knob to energize the unit.

Press PROBE - Probe flashes on the ECH.

Insert probe into the probe socket.

Probe temperature is preset to 160°F (70°C).

Change temperature by turning selector knob right to
6
increase probe temperature, or to the left to decrease
probe temperature setting.
Press ENTER key or after 2 seconds oven turns on by
7
default.
Probe temperature flashes in knob display when
8
desired temperature has been reached.
To exit Probe Feature, turn the knob assembly to OFF.
