Fast-Cut picking-up system
Optional extra
The Fast-Cut picking-up system available as an optional extra
excels by the gentle picking-up of material. Due to the fact
that no sharp-edged parts are used on the conveyor drum,
the fodder structure is maintained to the largest possible
extent.
Another advantage is the fact that the fodder is not loosened
in the cutting area. Thanks to the knife mounted at the cutting
unit, a comparably smooth cut surface is produced when
picking up fodder, which prevents subsequent heating and
fermentation of the fodder in the silo.
The cutting unit can be hydraulically swivelled back to pick up
bulk materials.
After the fodder has been picked up, it is loosened in the
conveyor drum, before the elevator conveyor transports it into
the mixing container. Loosening of fodder facilitates the
mixing process.
The elevator conveyor can be reversed, such that excess
fodder can be conveyed back into the storage area.
