9.11 Refuel
Refuel the machine at the end of a working day to prevent
condensation in the fuel tank. A low level is indicated by a red
bar in the level indicator and the symbol is highlighted in red.
WARNING
Risk of fire / Risk of explosion
Risk of fire / explosion when handling fuel may cause serious
injuries or even death
•
Avoid fire, naked light, smoking and sparking.
•
Only refuel with the diesel engine turned off and the
ignition switched off.
•
Do not enter the driver's cabin during refuelling. The
electrostatic charge may generate sparks.
•
Never mix diesel fuel with petrol.
ATTENTION
Inadmissible or contaminated fuel
Damage to the diesel engine.
•
Only fill in admissible fuels.
•
Do not fill in contaminated fuel.
•
Ensure to prevent water from entering the fuel tank
during refuelling.
Environmental pollution
•
Ensure to prevent lubricants and fuels from
polluting the environment.
•
Collect lubricants and fuels in appropriate
containers and store and dispose of them
properly.

1. Turn the diesel engine off.
2. Unlock the tank cap (1).
3. Unscrew the tank cap.
4. Put the tank cap onto a clean surface.
5. Top up fuel.
6. Screw the tank cap onto the tank filler neck as far as it
will go.
7. Lock the tank cap.
