Maintenance
Service plan
Regular servicing at least every 6 months or after 1000 operating hours
Check the brake retardation values after each adjustment (dynometer or retardation measuring
device).
Check the function of the automatic braking as per the order.
Check the function, setting and condition of the inductive transmitter/photo eyes.
Operating devices
Check the function and condition of the operating devices.
Check the protective devices depending on the equipment. Repair if necessary.
Check that information signs, warning signs and the load capacity diagram are present and legi-
ble.
Replace any missing or illegible information signs, warning signs or load capacity diagrams.
Check the function and condition of optional and additional equipment according to the order.
Electrics, electronics
Check the condition of the battery cables, battery connectors, battery male connectors and check
for secure attachment.
Battery cable: visually check the insulation.
Battery: measure the battery voltage under load
Battery: measure the tray for short circuits.
Battery: check the electrolyte level.
Drive and pump controller: check the driving, acceleration, braking and reversing functions.
Check that the plugs and connections are securely attached.
Visually check the insulation of openly routed cables.
Check the condition of the contactor contacts and check for erosion. Replace if necessary.
Visually check the condition of the fuses.
Check the fuse values.
Clean the heat sink and fan.
Hydraulics
Check the oil level in the hydraulic system. To do this, fully lower the load support. The oil level
must be between the minimum and maximum marking. The markings on the hydraulic oil tank
become visible once the control compartment hood is removed.
Check the hydraulic system for leak tightness.
Replace the hydraulic oil filter in the hydraulic oil tank.
Replace the air filter in the hydraulic oil tank.
Check the pump motor for operating noise.
Check the pre-load of the hose lines.
