2. Assemble sanding jigs. From the 3/16” balsa stock assemble the parts to create the 5
degree jig (first photo) and two 10 degree jigs (second photo) as illustrated below.
3. Use the guide below to sand the appropriate angles at the wing center section and
breaks 1 and 2. An example is given for use of the jigs for sanding wing panel 1.
Complete remaining panels in the same fashion.
A = Sand edge using 5 degree jig.
B = Sand edge using 10 degree jig.
C = Sand edge using 10 degree jig.
