GENERAL:
GPS
– Select GPS and press
Enter
to control the way the GPS functions and how much
power it consumes.
Enabled:
GPS acquires satellites and updates map once per second. (Default)
Disabled: GPS is inactive, but all other functions are available, appropriate for indoor
use prior to departure.
Demo:
Selecting Demo causes the handheld to play back a specific scenario as though
the user was involved in a hunting activity. A demo database of dogs and collars needs
to be populated along with demo tracking content for each tracked object. The handheld
performs as though the user is in the field, giving access to all the other features of the
handheld while the GPS information for the user and all tracked objects comes from a
demo file.
NOTE: if the GPS Setting is set to Disabled or Demo when it is turned off, it will be reset to Normal when it is turned
back on.
NOTE: during demonstrations all other GPS functions perform as though a 3D satellite fix has been achieved.
