KEY DEFINITIONS
HANDHELD
HANDHELD:
Receives and displays location updates from
the GPS Module. It sends the radio signal to the E-Collar
module. It is waterproof and can be submerged in water to a
depth of 5 feet.
ON/OFF BUTTON:
Pressing and releasing this button will
cause the unit to vibrate and the startup screen will display.
Pressing and holding this button when the display goes
black will turn the unit off. The backlight settings can also
be adjusted by simply pressing and releasing the button for
one second.
WHEEL:
Rotating the wheel clockwise or counterclockwise
allows the user to interact with the features on the screen,
including scrolling through icons and adjusting the map scale.
ENTER:
Pressing and releasing this button selects a
highlighted Menu entry. May also be used to select an object
on the map screen to receive more detailed information.
ARROW PAD:
This pad contains four arrow keys (up, down,
left, and right) and can be used to control navigation
through all menus and lists on the device.
TRAINING/TRACKING/HOME TOGGLE BUTTON:
This
button toggles between tracking, training, and home
screens and can be used to return to the last used screen
when pressed from any other screen.
USER-DEFINED STIM BUTTON:
These buttons (button 1
on top, button 2 in the middle, and button 3 on the bottom)
send the stimulation signals you have selected to use when
training your dog.
MENU BUTTON:
When pressed and released, this slightly
raised button displays a pop-up menu of the available
options for the current screen.
WAYPOINT BUTTON:
Pressing and releasing this button
displays a “Create Waypoint” menu with customization
options for users, active dogs, hunters, or map locations.
CHARGING JACK:
For connecting the Handheld to the USB
cable or vehicle charger.
E-COLLAR MODULE:
Receives the radio signal from the Handheld and delivers static, vibration, or tone stimulation
for correcting or cueing your dog. It is waterproof and can be submerged in water to a depth of 15 feet.
GPS MODULE:
Receives location from GPS and transmits location updates to the Handheld. It is waterproof and
can be submerged in water to a depth of 25 feet.
CONTACT POINTS:
The contacts through which the E-Collar Module delivers stimulation to your dog.
ON/OFF BUTTON:
Pressing and releasing this button when the GPS Indicator Light comes on green will turn
the unit on. Pressing and holding this button until the GPS Indicator Light comes on solid red and the GPS Collar
beeps for 2 seconds will turn the unit off.
INDICATOR LIGHT:
Indicates when the GPS module has been turned on or off, whether a GPS Lock has been
attained, is in pairing mode, and also serves as a low-battery indicator.
CHARGING JACK:
For connecting the GPS module to the charge cradle.
