INFO FIELDS
The Info Fields at the bottom of the Compass page display information about the current track or route. You can
choose the types of information they show.
When the compass is used for navigation, an additional field appears above the info fields and displays the name
of what you are navigating to.
COMPASS MENU
To see the Compass Menu, press the Menu button while viewing the Compass page.
You can exit the Compass Menu at anytime by pressing the left arrow button.
Home
Press
Enter
or the right arrow button to go to the Home page.
Stop Navigation
Press
Enter
or the right arrow button to stop navigation and clear route content from
screen (only visible when a route is active).
Calibrate...
Press
Enter
or the right arrow button and follow the instructions to calibrate your Handheld’s compass.
Go To...
Press
Enter
or the right arrow button to bring up a menu of waypoints and objects. Use the Up/Down arrow
buttons or the wheel to make your selection, then press the right arrow button to create a route to a waypoint or a
tracking item.
Vehicle Mode
This option allows you to tell the TEK 2.0 that you are in a vehicle and the magnetic compass should be turned off
to prevent rapid changes in heading that might be caused by the metal from the car.
In Vehicle Mode, the TEK 2.0 will only update heading values when the GPS detects movement.
Info Fields
To change Info Fields, select Menu – Info Fields – Change Info Fields
Use the up/down arrows to select an Info Field heading to change, then press
Enter
.
This will bring up a menu of possible headings to select for that Info Field.
Use the arrow keys or wheel to scroll through the possible heading list.
Press
Enter
to select the new info field.

Exiting Change Info Fields

. Select Home to go to the Home page. Select
Done
to exit the Change Info Fields mode. Select
Cancel
to close the menu and return to Change Info Fields.
