Verify that the signal level is greater (less negative) than -20 dB
for narrow-band transmitters (90341) and greater (less negative)
than -27 dB for wide-band transmitters (90343 and 90347).
If a transmitter does not meet the power output requirements,
return the transmitter to the Spacelabs Healthcare Equipment
Service Center (ESC) for a full alignment of the output and center
frequency, and a check of the electronic components. Do not
attempt to align the transmitter by using the procedure in
Center Frequency Adjustment
1
Set up the spectrum analyzer as follows:
2
Connect the spectrum analyzer to the transmitter using the 670-
0787-00 or 670-0787-10 test fixture PCBA. Use a 4-foot RG58
BNC to BNC cable.
3
If the transmitter center frequency needs adjustment, carefully
remove the top cover assembly. On the multiparameter
transmitters (90343), carefully open the case and lay the top case
assembly next to the bottom case assembly without
disconnecting the ribbon cable to the SpO
