9. Mark them so as not to confuse the pieces with others from the same
kind of pumps.
10. Remove set screws of gear case cover.
11. Remove O-rings.
12. Note down the position of the centering plugs and disassemble them:
knock the plugs with a wooden or plastic tooling.
13. Remove Seger rings and front and back bearing cups.
14. Remove shaft bearings.
15. It may be necessary to force or destroy the bearings if you have not got
an extractor; in both cases be very careful not to damage the shafts.

CASE ASSEMBLY - ALL PUMPS (Excluding N. 0)
1. Assemble the Seger rings onto the gear case;
2. Apply a thin layer of 641 Loctite fixing agent on the centering plugs and
insert them onto their housing under pressure;
3. Assemble the new O-rings into the gear case cover;
4. Assemble the bearing cups into the case and cover;
5. Assemble the bearings onto shafts under pressure;
6. Assemble the stud bolts. The hexagonal stud must be on the top left or
bottom right, depending on where the pump is greased.
7. Rest the gear case on the stud bolts; assemble the shafts matching up
the punched gears (see installation below);
8. Assemble the new gasket onto the gear case and then assemble the
cover. Screw up the four nuts of the cover, tightening them alternately.
9. Assemble and screw up set screws.
10. Place the gear case with the rotor holder shafts facing upwards, insert
the new oil seals into their housing, with the spring facing downwards.
Push the seals gradually into their housing using a bevelled tool, until
the outside of the seal is level with the housing. Rest the gear case on
the stud bolts and put back the oil seals in the same way, still with the
spring facing downwards
11. Assemble the O-rings.
12. Screw up the drainage plug and fill up the gear case with oil.
13. Assemble the body, rotors and cover onto the gear case.
