Use you index fingertip to push the gasket completely into its housing in one
position only if you are fitting it on manually. Repeat the operation in the other
positions until the turn has been completed.

You can also use a tool consisting of two concentric plastic tubes, one inside
the other. Proceed as follows:

Remove cover from pump.
If the pump has a pneumatic vented cover: disconnect the compressed air
tube and remove vented cover from pump.
