Adjusting the Registration

Vertical line adjustment at the right side
1
Press the KEY key and press the PO key once.
The projector enters the right keystone adjustment mode (POSITION
No. 4) of the red signal.

Adjust the distortion of the vertical line at the right side with the B and
b keys.
B
: The vertical line rotates counter-clockwise, rotating around the
center.
b
: The vertical line rotates clockwise, rotating around the center.

Press the PIN key and press the PO key once.
The projector enters the right pincushion adjustment mode (POSITION
No. 4) of the red signal.

Adjust the distortion of the vertical line at the right side with the B and
b keys.
B : The upper and lower ends of the vertical line curve towards the left
while the center remains unchanged.
b : The upper and lower ends of the vertical line curve towards the
right while the center remains unchanged.

Repeat the adjustment with the KEY or PIN key and the
B
and
b
keys
until the vertical line at the right side converges with the green line.

Red ZONE adjustment
Adjust red ZONE after the red lines have converged with the green lines
by performing the adjustments

Press the ZONE key.
The 9 x 9 HATCH pattern and the cursor appear, and the projector
enters the center zone adjustment mode (POSITION No. 1).

Reset the FINE zone data.
See “Resetting the data” on page 138.

Adjust the red line distortion in the cursor positioning area with the
arrow keys.
For fine adjustment, press the ZONE key once to set the projector to
the FINE mode. While you hold down the arrow key in the FINE
mode, “f” is displayed around the adjustment position.
When you press the ZONE key in position No. 1, the adjustment mode
changes as follows:
COARSE adjustment mode
n
FINE adjustment mode
n
position
select mode n COARSE adjustment mode ...

After the adjustment is complete, press the ZONE key to set the
projector to the position select mode.

Press the PO/– keys to select the part to be adjusted.
When you press the + key, the cursor moves in the numerical order as
illustrated.
When you press the – key, the cursor moves in the reverse order.
The selected position number appears at the upper right corner.

The projector enters the COARSE adjustment mode.
