Procedure
Preparation
Set the signal generator as follows :
Signal generator setting

The adjustment procedures describe that the URX-M2
(to be adjusted) is installed into the Tuner
[1]
slot on the
MB-X6 or MB-806.
. The message indications “A” and “B” on the LCD
display and those of the inscription on the ANTENNA
connector where the RF input signal is connected are
reversed. However, follow the adjustment procedure as
described below.
1. Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA B IN
connector with DC cut fixture.
2. Turn OFF the MB-X6/MB-806 POWER switch.
3. Set the “ATT” switch on the MB-X6/MB-806 rear pan-
el as follows.
ATT (ANTENNA A, B) switch: 0 dB
4. Set the RF OUTPUT (output level) of the signal genera-
tor to the OFF.
5. Turn on the power of the MB-X6/MB-806. Before any
indication appears on the LCD (URX-M2), press the
“SET”, the “
+ ” and the “ _ ” button of the URX-M2 at
the same time. (Keep pressing the above buttons and
continue the adjustment.)
6. When the following message appears on the LCD
(URX-M2), remove your hand from the above buttons.

7. When a message appears on the LCD (URX-M2), all
segments light on. Then pressing the following buttons
in the order starting from “SET”
→
“ + ”
→
“ _ ”
→
“SET” buttons while all segments are lighting.
8. Indication on LCD (URX-M2, Tuner
[1]
) appears as
follows :

9. Set the RF OUTPUT (output level) of the signal genera-
tor to the ON.
10. Check first that indication “L” of “AC1L” on the LCD
(URX-M2, Tuner
[1]
) has disappeared, and then press
the “SET ” button of the URX-M2.

8) displays below, perform the following adjustment (1)
or (2).
. When “L” indication does not disappear from the
LCD. (The RF input level is lower than the reference
level.)
. When “H” is displayed. (The RF input level is higher
than the reference level)
(1) Check the RF output level and FREQUENCY of
the signal generator (perform re-setting if
necessary), and repeat from procedure 1.
(2) If the above conditions (the “L” indication does
not disappear, or “H” is displayed) remain even
after re-adjustment, it is necessary to check the
RF circuit of the URX-M2.
11. Indication on the LCD (URX-M2, Tuner
