(3) Frequency Characteristic Check
1.
Set the URX-P2 as follows :

RF Squelch : OFF (For setting, refer to “Setting the
Squelch OFF mode” on page 2-42)
Monitor level : MON.01 (minimum value)

Connect the audio analyzer to the OUTPUT connector
via MIC amp.
3.
Connect the signal generator to the CN201/RF-130
board with the MM-SMA conversion connector and the
RF adjusting cable.
4.
Set the signal generator as follows :

the audio analyzer).
This level is specified to be 0 dB.

Change the MODULATION (modulation frequency) of
the signal generator as follows, and check the output
level of the OUTPUT connector is set also as follows.

using the function generator.

Connect the signal generator to the CN101/RF-130
board with the MM-SMA conversion connector and the
RF adjusting cable.
8.
Perform the procedures 4 to 6.

Set the audio analyzer to the distortion mode, and check
that the distortion ratio is less than 0.8 %.
6.
Change the MODULATION (modulation frequency) of
the signal generator as shown below.
MODULATION (modulation frequency) : 10 kHz
Check that the distortion ratio is less than 4 %.

10 kHz modulation frequency must be set by using the
function generator.
7.
Connect the signal generator to the CN101/RF-130
board with the MM-SMA conversion connector and the
RF adjusting cable.
8.
Perform the procedures 4 to 6 above.
