1.
Connect the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector and select COMPUTER as
SIGNAL SELECT.
2.
Set CONTRAST to 90.
3.
Enter the white balance adjustment mode and proceed
to the 5400K GAIN adjustment mode.
4.
Increase GREEN GAIN from 140 using the
[LEFT]
and
[RIGHT]
keys until the brightness reaches
saturation.
5.
Set RED GAIN and BLUE GAIN to the value set at
step 4.
6.
Set CONTRAST to 80.
7.
While keeping RED GAIN as a fixed value, decrease
the values of GREEN GAIN and BLUE GAIN so that
the chroma satisfies the following specifications.
Specified value : x : 0.335
±
0.002
y : 0.349
±
0.002
8.
Input the SXGA 10% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector.
9.
Enter the 5400K BIAS adjustment mode.
10. Set RED BIAS to 85 and adjust the values of GREEN
BIAS and BLUE BIAS using the
[LEFT]
and
[RIGHT]
keys so that the chroma satisfies the follow-
ing specifications.
Specified value : x : 0.335
±
0.002
y : 0.349
±
0.002
11. Input the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector again and perform step 7.
12. Repeat steps 7 through 11 again so that both the values
of steps 7 and 10 meet the specifications.
13. Press the MEMORY button to save the values.
14. Copy the adjustment data in PRESET3 of the white
balance adjustment.

3-3-1. Integrator Adjustment
1.
Press the PATTERN key on the control panel, select
the crosshatch signal and adjust the focus.
2.
Press the zoom key to set the display to two-thirds or
smaller of the screen size.
3.
Adjust the focus again.
4.
Connect the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector and select COMPUTER as
SIGNAL SELECT.
5.
Press the PATTERN key on the control panel and
select entirely white signals.

Loosen screws

shown in Fig. 7.

Move integrator unit

in the direction of arrows A
and B to balance the focus of sides A and B of the
integrator image in the same way as in Screen 1.

Rotate the integrator unit in the opposite direction to arrow A
of step 7, and set side A almost horizontal to the floor.

Fasten temporarily screw

shown in Fig. 7.
10. Press the picture mute to set the display to black.
11. Move the integrator unit to search for a brighter line
around the effective screen than the effective area. The
right or left vertical line and top or bottom horizontal
line are normally displayed.
