Installation measurements vary
depending on how you want to display
the picture on the screen.
There are two ways how to display:
“5:4 display mode” and “4:3 display
mode.”
5:4 display mode
A
“5:4 display mode” displays an SXGA
signal with a 5:4 aspect ratio so that the
whole picture will be displayed on the
screen with 4:3 aspect ratio. The
vertical direction of the picture fits the
screen height (see

A signal with 4:3 aspect ratio will be
displayed smaller than the 4:3 screen
(see

).
4:3 display mode
B
“4:3 display mode” displays a video or
computer signal with a 4:3 aspect ratio
to fill the screen with 4:3 aspect ratio
(see

).
An SXGA signal with a 5:4 aspect ratio
will be off screen at the top and bottom
(see

). In this case, if you set
“SCAN CONV” in the INPUT
SETTING menu to “ON,” the picture
will fit the screen.
