The HDC-750A is a high-definition portable color
video camera. By attaching an HDCA-750A HD
Camera Adaptor, the camera may be connected to an
HDCU-700A Camera Control Unit or a VTR and used
as an EFP

camera.
Automatic adjustment and memory of
black balance and white balance
Automatic adjustment of black set, black balance, and
white balance may be performed with a simple switch
operation. The adjusted value is stored in memory
even when the camera power is turned off, so there is
no need to readjust the balance every time the camera
is turned on.
By choosing from the memory an adjusted while
balance value appropriate to the lighting conditions,
the camera will be able to set the white balance
automatically. Also, white balance settings for various
color temperatures are loaded into memory in the
factory. These settings may be recalled and used when
there is no time to adjust the balance yourself.
Electronic shutter
Using the built-in electronic shutter allows capture of
video with minimal blurring, even when shooting
quickly moving subjects. The following special
shutter modes may also be selected.
• Clear Scan (CLS
TM

with a vertical scanning frequency less than 60 Hz, or
for shooting a projected movie. Using this mode will
allow capturing video images of the screen with no
horizontal dark stripes.
