Connecting an HDCD-50 to the camera
adaptor
You can connect an HDCD-50 HD Signal Distributor
to the camera adaptor attached to the camera, as shown
in the figure below.

You can connect an HDCU-700A HD Camera Control
Unit to the camera adaptor attached to the camera, as
shown in the figure below.

Connecting a camera control unit to the
camera adaptor
Of the camera’s functions executable by menu
operations, the following are also executable by
remote control from a remote control panel or master
setup unit connected to the camera adaptor.
• Auto-setup (level adjustment, auto black and white
balance adjustment)
• Clearing scene file or setup file data
• Clearing painting data
• Test signal output
About color bar or test signal output
When performing auto-setup using a remote control
panel or master setup unit, setup may be performed
during the output of a color bar or test signal. After
setup is complete, the color bar or test signal will again
be displayed on the viewfinder screen.
