Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference.
The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by persons with
impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the
age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have
understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only
clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. After unpacking the unit, confirm that it has
not been damaged during transit. Keep the packaging away from children if it contains plastic bags or other potentially
hazardous components.

USAGE / RESISTANCE TO MOISTURE

Regarding its connectors, standard size, installation requirements, technical parameters this appliance is compatible
to conventional car radios. Suitable for using in land and water vehicles. In order to use in ships, it is specially
protected against moisture. Method of protection: thanks to a protective layer – the wet air which is getting into the
device, doesn’t meet sensitive parts of it. This unit is especially suitable for use in humid, wet environment, but avoid
to get water on or into it. Furthermore do not expose to direct sunlight!

• If water would get inside the appliance, power it off and contact a specialist! You may need to check and clean

connectors!

RESETTING THE UNIT

The microprocessor data requires resetting in situations where the power supply is lost or the unit (including its
display) acts erratically. In order to do so, press

RESET

button located under the removable front panel for 3 seconds

using a thin, sharp object. The equipment will switch off and will return to factory default condition. This operation
is required after installation, before switching on the unit for the first time, furthermore when the vehicle’s battery
is replaced.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

Switching on works by pressing any of the buttons. To switch it off, press and hold the red

button.

• Later on, it will automatically switch to the most recently used function after being switched on unless the external

storage device has been removed in the meantime.

• Since voltage surges can occur when the vehicle’s engine is started, only turn on the unit after the engine has been

started. Turn off the unit before stopping the engine.

in order to use treble-bass equalizer, switch off the EQ settings.

• When listening to music on higher volume, do not emphasize significantly high and low tones, as this may cause

distortion!

PHYSIOLOGICAL TONE ADJUSTMENT

The human ear perceives less of low and high frequency sounds at smaller volume. By turning

LOUDNESS

 function

on, at low volume, automatic tone adjustment depending on volume, will correct this effect. It is recommended to
switch off this function at higher volume, since it may cause distorted sound.

•  In order to get better sound quality, before using this function it is recommended to choose DSP OFF setting, and set the

equalizers to „0” position.

• The larger the volume, the less noticeable effect on the automatic tone correction.

SRC/CALL END

 button. Available options: radio

connected, where the files to be played are available.

• If there is external unit connected to

USB

 and

SD

slot at the same time, then

USB

 or

SD

 option can be selected with

SRC/CALL END

button. Basically SD card is recommended to use, because of its safe location

• After connecting external data sources, tracks from the last inserted one will be played.
• Being switched on again, playing of last listened track will continue, if the connected device has not been removed in

the meantime.

USING THE RADIO

After the unit is switched on the radio will turn on if it was being previously listened to – or the last played USB/SD

number keys. Totally 18 FM radio stations can be memorised/stored.

MANUAL TUNING AND STORING RADIO STATIONS

• If one storage place is already used, then the content will be deleted, and new station frequency will be stored.
• If the unit is being used at a distance from the original tuned location – such as when travelling – the same station

might have to be tuned in again on a different frequency.  The same program is broadcasted on different frequencies
in different geographical locations! This can be prevented by using the AF mode on the devices where RDS function is
available. Check details below.

AUTOMATIC TUNING AND STORING

Keep

AMS

button pressed for automatic searching and storing of radio stations which can be received at the place of

use. Process of tuning and storing can be followed on the display. All receivable frequency will be checked. The better
