11. Maintenance
The Solzaima free standing pellet fire unit requires careful maintenance. The most
important thing is to remove the ash from the pellet burning area at regular intervals. This
can be easily done by using a simple household vacuum cleaner. It should be cleaned
after burning approximately
30kg (
air model
) / 60kg (
backboiler model
) of pellets.
Note:
However, before cleaning, the power of the unit must be turned off and the unit
should be cold enough to prevent accidents from occurring.
Cleaning the unit
Fire Insert Model
The maintenance procedure requires pulling out the cleaning bar hidden in the unit's
vent grid and opening the unit's door with the handle, as shown in Figure 34-b.

Then remove the burning basket (Figure 35-b -
air model
) and the ash basket (Figure
36) and vacuum both. The interior of the unit must also be cleaned by opening the hatch,
as shown in Figure 38. Finally, assemble the parts in the reverse to which they were
removed and close the unit door.
