UPS start-up/shutdown

Switch on UPS (not first-time start-up)
This section explains the start-up procedures for the operator after a shutdown of the UPS. A
shutdown could occur due to battery exhaustion following an extended power outage or due to a
manual shutdown by a technician prior to maintenance on the UPS.

This screen indicates that the UPS was manually shutdown, i.e. UPS state is OFF. The shutdown
was performed manually, indicated by the UPS shutdown by OFF button – and no output
message. The load icon (bottom right hand corner of the screen) indicates that the UPS is not
bearing a load.
Also note that the Alarm icon is active because the UPS is in OFF mode, instead of normal
operating mode.
