VI. Start up and driving
Run-in period
During the first 1,500 miles, please follow the recommendations
below to ensure the future reliability and economic running of
the car.
• Do not run the engine at more than 3000rpm for long
periods.
• Avoid quick starts.
• Avoid emergency braking if possible.
• Do not tow!

The driving characteristics of your vehicle may vary significantly
depending on the additional load, the distribution of the load
or the addition of extra equipment. Your driving style and speed
must be adjusted in accordance with these factors.

Make sure there are no obstacles around the car.
• Check your tyres appearance, condition and pressure.
• Check that all windows and lights are clean.
• Adjust the seat and headrest position.
• Adjust the inner and outer mirrors.
• Attach seat belts and ensure that all occupants are also
wearing their seat belts.
• Ensure that all doors are safely closed.
• Turn the engine on and check the operation of each alarm /
indicator.
