Indicator lights
ABS / EBD fault indicator
When the ABS system is faulty (the ABS fault light
is on and the EBD fault indicator is off), the anti-
lock brake function is disabled. The brake system
operates in the EBD braking force distribution mode
(with non-ABS vehicles equipped with a load sensing
proportional valve), but without the anti-lock system
function. Please contact DFSK authorised service
outlets for inspection.
Brake fluid level warning light
While driving, if the brake low level indicator lights,
safely stop as soon as possible, turn off the engine
and check the brake fluid level. If the brake fluid level
is lower than the minimum mark, please add brake
fluid as needed.

Warning
If the ABS / EBD indicator is lit while the engine
is running, it indicates that the ABS / EBD system
is working abnormally. In this case, the brake
system is in a dangerous working condition. Be
sure to decelerate slowly until at a halt and contact
immediately a DFSK service outlet.

Warning
The car should not be driven until it has been
checked by a DFSK service outlet.
Parking brake indicator
(electronic handbrake)
When the ignition switch is in the “ON” position. If
the parking brake is not released, the lamp is on. If
the parking brake is released, the lamp goes out.
If the parking brake is not fully released, the parking
brake indicator will light continuously. Make sure the
parking brake light is off before driving.
Charging indicator
The charging indicator light comes on while the
engine starts, and then goes off, which means that
the charging system is working properly.
If the charging indicator is lit when the engine is
running or the car is being driven then turn the
engine off and check the alternator belt. If the
alternator belt is loose, broken, or detached, the
charging system will need to be repaired.
If the alternator belt is normal, but the charging
indicator is still lit, immediately contact a DFSK
service outlet to check the charging system.
Low oil pressure indicator
CAUTION
•If the low oil pressure indicator is lit you should
stop driving immediately as continued operation will
severely damage the engine.
•The oil pressure low indicator lamp cannot indicate
the oil level. Oil level must be checked using the oil
dipstick.
