GENERAL INFORMATION
The panel is grouped into areas to simplify
operation and the controls in each area will be
described in turn.
DISPLAY AND CONTROLS
The display comprises four rows of 20 characters.
There is a selection pushbutton at both ends of
each row. In some cases the row has information
on one parameter, in which case the button at
either end can be used for selection. In other
cases, there are two parameters in the row, in
which case the left-hand button selects the left-
hand parameter and the right-hand button the
right-hand parameter.
The rotary control allows you to scroll menus and
to set parameters to a required value.
To return to the previous menu level, press the
return
pushbutton. It may be used to progress
back up the menu tree. To return to the status
display, press the button labeled
home
.
The
prev.
button returns you to the last item or
value adjusted. The maximum number of previous
levels that may be returned to is 10.
The spinwheel is operative when either the scroll
LED or the Adjust LED is illuminated.
SYMBOLS
Symbols used in this window have the following
meanings:
These symbols, to the right or left
of text indicate that the item may
be selected. Pressing the button
adjacent to this symbol selects the
menu item.
...
When three dots (periods) follow
an item it indicates that more sub-
menus are available under this
item.
FUNCTION PUSHBUTTONS
There are two rows of function buttons.
Some function buttons behave differently
depending on whether they are pressed and
released or pressed and held down.
The former is referred to as a
Short Press
and
the latter as a
Long Press
.
