8. Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below for troubleshooting.
When none of the causes in the troubleshooting can be
confirmed and normal operation is recovered by the replacement of a part, it is presumed that failure is in
the product.
It is possible that this product is damaged due to the operating conditions (applications), please contact
SMC to discuss appropriate measures.

controller to check wiring, for broken

each signal is performed appropriately.
Separate the power supply for the
CN1controller power supply and the CN5 I/O
signal power supply.
Alarm
generated
Controller alarm is generated?
Refer to the operation manual of the
controller. Check the type of alarm.
Take appropriate measures according to
this manual.
Lock
release error
Check if you can hear the sound of lock
release when the manual lock switch is
turned on and off.
If there is no unlocking sound from the
actuator, a locking failure is possible.
Inappropriate
specification
Check if a product with a suitable
specification was selected. Reconfirm
the combination of the power supply and
the actuator and controller.
Check the actuator part number to replace
with one of the appropriate ones
compatible to the controller.
Operation

Controller alarm is generated?
Check the type of the alarm referring to
the operation manual of the controller
for troubleshooting.
Take appropriate measures according to
