4.4.
Detection cartridge
The cartridge is separated from the detector to enable its replacement. Its dismantling is
extremely easy and does not need to touch the rest of the unit.
Caution during the assembly and the disassembly of the cartridge on the detector:
•
Slide the positioning pin of the cartridge into the corresponding
hole in the housing (at the bottom of the receiver).
•
Take care to not damage the cartridge connector when tightening
the two parts.
•
This operation imperatively requires power to be off
Loosen the locking screw on the side of the nut (see Figure
1), then unscrew the nut, along the first part of the thread.
With the nut, pull on the cartridge to remove it and then
unscrew the cartridge from the nut.
Cartridges have an identification colour ring (see §1.4).
Insert a new cartridge of the same colour into the case
respecting the position defined by the centring pin, screw
the nut until it stops ensuring the presence of O-ring. Then,
tighten the locking screw.
Switch on the device in order to make the calibration of the
new cartridge and the zero adjustment.
