9.8 Starting up the Transceiver Unit
Observe this test procedure to power up the Transceiver Unit for
the first time.

Remove the fuses

front panel.

Set the service switch

Check that the fans start, and that the lamps

Check that only lamp

on the HV power unit is lit.

Check that the following small LEDs on the Transceiver
Interface Board (TIB) illuminate (refer to the indication on
the front of the power supply):
- +8 V, -8 V, +5VA, -5 AV, +5 V, +12 V, +24 V and +24 V
stand-by.

Switch off the Transceiver Unit by setting the service switch
S202
on the power supply to the
Normal
position.
