
Installing or Replacing a D-brick2 Drive Carrier Module

4. Open the handle by pressing the latch on the module handle towards the right.
Then gently slide the module out of the enclosure approximately 1 inch (25 mm),
and wait 30 seconds for the drive to stop spinning. See Figure 12-21.
Caution:
Damage can occur to a drive if it is removed while still spinning.

5. After 30 seconds, withdraw the module from the drive bay. Replace it immediately;
follow the instructions in “Installing a Drive Carrier Module” on page 153.
