Adding the HGW 1033-3 to a Safety Designer Project
To use the HGW in a Safety project, in must be integrated as follows:
1. Create a new project or open an existing one
2.
Add an “SCP111” to the “hardware tree” if not already available.
3. Right-
click on “0-SAFETY WIRELESS” , then via Add-Device, add the

HGW_1033_3 (HGW-
WLAN)”

“SF_HGW_Login” Function Block
A function block is provided in the Safety designer, which must be implemented for the con-
figuration and use of the HGW 1033-3.
The use of the function block is thoroughly documented in the Safety Designer.

Key Switch
In the Safety Designer, in the “HGW_1033_3“ module,
Safe_Input5
and
Safe_Input6
are
used for the two-channel application of the key switch.

Confirmation Switch
In the Safety Designer, in the “HGW_1033_3“ module,

are
used for the two-channel application of the confirmation switch.
