Changing the thyristor electronics
To change the thyristor electronics, proceed as follows:
1. Two plastic latches interlock the thyristor electronics. The plastic latches

are fixed with
cylinder head screws

. Use a screwdriver to loosen these screws until the interlocking is
released. Fold the plastic latches to the bottom right or top right.

2. Take out the thyristor electronics.
NOTICE
Damage to the thyristor electronics
The thyristor electronics are clamped very tightly in the connectors. The thyristor electronics
can be damaged during removal.
• Never remove the thyristor electronics from the electronics shielding enclosure; remove
them from the heat sink only.
3. Push the new thyristor electronics (with component side facing to the right) completely into
the thyristor module slot. There must be no gap between the plug connector and the socket
connector.
4. Fold the plastic latches

back into place.
5. Tighten the screws

6. Send the thyristor electronics back. See Notes on sending back (Page 131).
