In the WBM, you program the program blocks for the control tasks of the RTU using a
graphic user interface.
Maintenance functions

Viewing, reading out or saving the diagnostics messages in the diagnostics buffer

The configuration data you create in the WBM is saved on the RTU.
If you want to back up the data as well, you can also save the configuration data in the WBM
area. "Maintenance" on the configuration PC or on a plugged in SD card, refer to the section
Configuration (Page 122).
If you install a lot of RTUs which use a lot of identical configuration data, you can copy the
configuration file of one RTU, if necessary adapt it manually in a text editor and then transfer
it to another RTU. You can also adapt the data later in the second RTU.
First access to the WBM
The first time you call up the WBM, you need to establish the connection between the
configuration PC and RTU initially via the LAN interface of the RTU, refer to the section User
data for the first login to the WBM (Page 106).
When you have configured the required data of the WAN interface, you can also access the
RTU later via the mobile wireless network.
