●
Current process value
Display of the physical value that is calculated after configuration of the measuring range
(see below).
●
Cable error correction
Only for temperature measurement
Select an option from the drop-down list:
–
No
The measured value is not corrected by the cable resistance.
–
Indication of the resistance
If you select this option, an input box for entering the cable resistance is displayed.
Enter the measured or calculated cable resistance. Based on the cable resistance
entered, the RTU corrects the measured value. More
–
Indication of the cable data
If you select this option, three input boxes for entering the following parameters of the
laid cable are displayed.
-
Specific resistance (Ω*mm
2
/m)
- Cable length (m)
(simple length)
- Cable cross section (mm
2
)
Based on this information, the RTU calculates the cable resistance and corrects the
measured value.
Specification of the measuring range
To specify the measuring range enter the lower interpolation point (interpolation point 1) and
the upper interpolation point (interpolation point 2) for the input signal (sensor value) and the
corresponding physical value (process value).
●
Sensor value (interpolation point 1)
Low value of the input signal
●
Process value (interpolation point 1)
Corresponding low value of the physical value
●
Sensor value (interpolation point 2)
High value of the input signal
●
Process value (interpolation point 2)
Corresponding high value of the physical value
●
Process value, range
Displays the configured process value range
